Love...With a Kiss of Rum

My Mommy has been making Rum Cake for family and friends for over 35 years. It started being a treat for the holidays but as more people tasted it... more people requested it... Rum Cake soon became a staple at family gatherings, potlucks, and as birthday presents.  Mommy is getting older  and has lost her desire to make this delicious cake.  As the youngest daughter, and the "Chef" of the family, I decided to continue Mommy's legacy.  I have taken on the duty of making sure Mommy's Rum Cake is available for family, friends, and now YOU.

 

We are an adult dessert and gift company that launched July 2013 sharing kitchen space with a small banquet hall in St Louis, Missouri.  Our goal is to create delicious "from scratch" products that are filled with LOVE that you can have shipped to all the special people in your life. Everyone would love a beautifully packaged cake filled with Rum... don't you think so ?

 

 

 

Our "Inspiration," Gloria Jean (Mommy), born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, is a mother of 3 and grandmother of 10.  With her unselfish, supportive, and genuine concern for the good of others, she is the epitome of LOVE. One of the most unique ways she expresses that love is with a Rum Cake. This business is dedicated to her...        

Our "Chief in Charge," Rochelle, has been in the food industry for over 12 years.  She received an Associate Degree in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts from the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago (CHIC) and has worked in food safety and the culinary field as a health educator, caterer, and in food service management. She also holds a BSW in Social Work and a MPH in Community Health Education.  She brings with her a love of people and food. "Together... what could be better?"
